Got Wood

Big thanks to Ross Beebe and his partners in crime for stopping by our house yesterday and delivering a cedar mantle shelf I've been after for a while.


It's huge! It measures about 6" tall, 12" deep, and 12' wide. You can see in the image above beautiful red and white sections of wood running through the mantle.I'm hoping that by the time it's hung, finished and oiled that the finish will be similar to this, if not sharper...

    the newco act had several lumps of wood playing today..
    none were as good looking as yours though.
